Lockmasters Security Institute
(LSI)

Lockmasters  initially started out as a safe lock manipulation resident school in 1955. One year later in 1956, they put out their famous correspondence courses. Over the years, they have evolved and grown dramatically.

They now have two separate buildings, Locksmasters where they sell tools and parts, and LSI where they give  training and education.

Mark Bates Associates
(MBA)

Mark Bates, a former Locksmasters employee, founded his own business several years ago. 

Following a different path from Locksmaters, which has diversified enormously, MBA has truly specialized in safe locks, both combination and key operated.

Penetration Parties
(Dave McOmie)

One of the industry's foremost safecrackers and instructors, Dave McOmie gives these unique events at several locations throughout the year.

These are events where attendees drill open  wide variety of safes from dawn to dusk. These are premium education events and tend to fill out quickly, usually in less than 24 hours.

Safe & Vault Technicians Association (SAVTA)

Originally founded by Locksmaters, SAVTA is now under the ALOA umbrella.

Every year the Safe and Vault Technicians Association hosts its convention and trade show. As part of the event classes are given to the attendees.
